Born in London, Joe is a graduate of the University of Kent, where he studied linguistics and computing, and he holds the Cambridge DELTA, the world's most widely recognised high-level qualification for teachers of English as a foreign language. Joe worked as an EFL teacher in Poland and the UK between 1993 and 2000, before embarking on a change of career. For 16 years, he worked in the field of organising trade expos and conferences, rising to the position of Product Strategy Director for the world's largest education technology expo. He began teaching again in 2016, drawing on his marketing experience to set up the TalkBusiness brand and multiply the number of companies gaining from our services.

Born in London, Nicky has been teaching English since 1993. She is a graduate of the University of Hertfordshire and has the Cambridge DELTA, the world's most widely recognised high-level qualification for teachers of English as a foreign language. She worked in Vic and Barcelona in the 1990s before returning to London, where she became the Director of Studies at a large English language school. She went on to work for Arsenal F.C. and Tottenham Hotspur F.C., delivering English language teaching to foreign footballers joining both clubs. She combined this role with business English teaching at Volkswagen UK and the position of tutor at the London campus of New York University.
